3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured a hazy gold, white significant head with mild lacing. Aromas of malty hops, citrus, tropical fruit with spicy undertones. Flavors of bitter hops and sweet malts, there are subtle pine notes and citrus. Finish; not very balanced, the alcohol is subtle, slightly fizzy at the beginning...it’s a good beer! I’m can challenged, but know it can be handy in select applications. I’m also not into four packs unless it is epic beer. With that being said, I would not make a habit of buying it!!!
Can pour into nonic pint glass from Lucia’s Bodega. Appearance is cloudy light brown-orange with yellow at the edges of the glass, minimal sparkle, finger-width creamy off-white head with poor retention and nice sudsy lacing. Aroma is strong pineapple, tropical fruits and citrus with milder resin over malty backbone. Taste is also strong pineapple/tropical fruit with light citrus, late mild resin bitterness and malts. Palate is medium bodied with thick texture, lively carbonation and mix of sweet and bitter finish. Overall, lots of fruity hop juiciness along with other features for balance and interest. 12 oz can a little past BB date stamped on bottom but stored cold.
Pours with a very hazy, light amber body topped by a large, frothy white head that has very good retention and leaves ample sudsy lacing.
Fruity aroma with hints of oranges, pineapple and soft ripe fruits.
Flavor: fruity hops dominate. Hints of oranges, pineapple, vanilla, oak and caramel. Nice moderately bitter finish with plenty of hops.
Mouthfeel: medium body with medium carbonation and a mild bite from the ample alcohol and hops.
Overall: an excellent, easy drinking DIPA. scotchzombie (589) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - OCT 30, 2016

Hazy golden color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of malt, floral hops, tropical fruit, & citrus; Flavor of sweet malt, caramel, pine hops, tropical fruit, and citrus; Warm finish & slight bitter; Nicely balanced; Very good. KansaiBeerLvrs (5141) - Kyoto, JAPAN - OCT 4, 2016
Can from Parker Pie, 9.7%, served in an IPA glass it gives off an intensely jammy waft of stone fruits. Getting in for a closer whiff I get some boozy sharp heat, lots of malt caramel sweetness and hints of pine.
Full bodied and quite a lusciously smooth mouthfeel. The taste is sharp peppery pine, jammy sweet stone fruit and a semi-dry herbal finish with some warmth radiating outwards from your stomach. Quite a good double IPA though I didn’t get anything from the oak spirals. madchemist83 (272) - USA - SEP 14, 2016
Aromas are very subtle but considering little amount of hops is used wasn’t too bad. Cloudy copper with white head. Amazing taste. Cotton candy, orange, bitter peel. Finished with a good alcohol bite. Fine example of what you can do with limited resources. Very well balanced and crafted.

Can. Golden pour. Aroma has lots of hops, caramel, citrus, pineapple and peach. Bitter taste of citrus hops, pineapple, peach, mild caramel and a really bitter finish. Great hop bomb.
