On tap. Pours a deep reddish brown with small tan head. A little underwhemlimg with a slight oakey aftertaste
Pours copper with a thin off white head. Aroma of sweet caramel with a similar flavor. Shaunmaloney (42) - Kasson, Minnesota, USA - FEB 27, 2014
Interesting beer from 21. Tulip from tap. Color is copper with light head. Strong English up front with a nice clean finish. Good, not great but another solid product from this brewery. Cheers! jrodooo5 (1672) - DOVER, Delaware, USA - FEB 2, 2014
So average for an "imperial." Good light copper pour w/ a tan head & slid lacing. Has some nice hop action balanced fairly well w/ some sweetness. Overall just not quite enough depth or aroma to make this a really good beer! BrewDad (5328) - Olympia, Washington, USA - OCT 14, 2013
Dark amber in color, thin tan head. Super rich Bourbon flavor with a rich malt backing. Nice oak flavors linger with the finish. Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 15, 2013
This one poured a hazy darker orange with an off white head. Aroma was caramel, grass, and light oak. Flavor was caramel and vanilla with medium hop bitterness. OK.

Kind of a basic Oregon IPA but with an infusion of whiskey flavors and I guess oak, a little lost in the beer. JCB (3999) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - AUG 7, 2013
On tap at Tyler’s, Durham. Well, it’s an interesting move to inflate an ESB in this fashion, but it kind of worked. Dark copper pour, fluffy carbonation. Biscuit malts and mild fruit in the nose, but the slight woodiness and sweet MM work well in there. Mouthfeel quite substantial, but no real heat on the palate (ABV is well masked in general). Toffee and biscuit malts again to taste, with modest hops in there too. Pretty well balanced and elegant for what’s going on. FROTHINGSLOSH (7796) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 4, 2013
UPDATED: AUG 19, 2013 Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a murky brown color with a hint of orange and a huge foamy orange-beige head that faded and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was boozy caramel and cinnamon. The flavor was sweet caramel, toffee, tart orange, a bit of cinnamon and a fairly boozy presence. Medium length caramel, orange and cinnamon finish. Moderately full bodied. Solid. BK7 (773) - Turner, Oregon, USA - JUL 21, 2013
2013 Portland International BeerFest. Sweet Caramel with mild fruit flavors in the background. The distinct flavors of Markers Mark were definitely present. Tasty. drowland (8758) - Georgia, USA - JUL 16, 2013
5/23/13. On tap at The Distillery. Amber brown pour with a nice fluffy khaki head. Must and caramel in the aroma with bready malts and seltzer water. Very sweet flavor with caramel, bread, a hint of toast, and nuttiness. On the sweet side overall.
