On tap @ 21A. Was about to scroll past this thinking it was the regular, but spotted a small "Aged on American Oak" in the menu description. Anyway, hazed orange pour with a small white head. Smells a lot like the regular version. That is: cloying. Bubblegum, cotton candy, banana, and tons of sugar. A touch of vanilla. Flavor is intensely sweet as well. Lots and lots of caramel, sugar, and cotton candy. Plenty of bubblegum, vanilla, and some sweet fruit (apple). Better than the original, at least. BeerFunGuy (874) - California, USA - NOV 30, 2013
This beer has a really amazing strawberry aroma. It has a sweet but Oakey flavor. It isn't too alcoholic for such a high % beer. It is really good and fruity flavored.

A very unique tasty quad. Pours a nice cloudy orange. Smells sweet with a bit of alcohol. Taste is creamy and not carbonated in the slightest. Very sweet, like candy, with some vanilla and caramel. The alcohol comes in at the finish. Had on tap at the brewery during the BRU/SFO Project.

On tap at 21st Amendment. Pours a clear reddish copper color with minimal head, just a slight ring around the glass. The aroma is nice and sweet, very fruity with lots of tropical notes - mango and coconut especially - with sweet malt, vanilla, and Belgian yeast. On the flavor, it’s rather sweet but in a very good way. Lots of tropical fruits and coconut, sweet pale and caramel malt, oak, vanilla, Belgian yeast. Low carbonation with medium-full body and a nice alcohol warmth to it without being overly boozy. I like this one a lot, even if it’s not exactly what I expected it to be as a Quad. badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - NOV 21, 2010
Copper brown with almost no head. Molasses and oak aroma and taste with candy sugar notes and a sticky palate.
