COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
You might not expect a Saison in winter. But the enemy didnt expect Washington to cross the icy Delaware, either. Expectations be damned, we say. Were sneaking up on winter with a boatload of bravado and this Belgian-style farmhouse ale. Dry hopped with whole organic cardamom pods, our Saison has an assertive spiciness. In your face, winter.

Solid saison aroma. Dank, horse blanket. A bit cloudy with white head. Great saison out of the can

On tap at Beverage World, poured a hazy golden color. Great aroma: citrus, ginger, lemons. Complex. Taste is smooth. Good beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

aroma leaves a peppery and spicy impression with a little funky yeast as well...cloudy yellow with half inch white pillowy head leaves some lacing not too much...taste..would be perfect on a 90 degree evening if we ever get another one around here..lemon cough drop, pepper,a hint of mint..light bodied and like seltzer water on the palate..overall..i like saisons especially as hot weather beers so im a bit partial but this tastes good to me

12oz Can at home - Nutty coriander, earthy parsley and sweet sage, wet grains, and a little sulfur rounding out a classic Saison aroma. Bright and crisp, refreshing session ale, glad to see a well made Saison as a seasonal release.

Nice aromas of cardamom and allspice. Medium body. Smooth all the way through. A little wheat character. Pairs well with Asian and middle eastern food.

For a saison, this is oddly light in color, and even in taste, it has a tartness to it thats unexpected. But the spiciness it has is just perfect. The can says its brewed with cardamom, and that must be what gives it a nice effect that combines a light and crisp summer beer with a stronger bodied session beer. The combination is nice.

Can. Golden with white. Flavors are herbal, grassy and spice with lighter saison touches. Aroma is fresh hop with saison back tones.

Can from Malt & Vine. Pours a light lemon yellow with a fizzy/creamy 3 finger white head. Aroma for some reason reminds me of thanksgiving turkey. Not necessarily dressing either. Maybe the gravy. Can that be cardamom? Well they do put it in stuffing. Strong aroma. Med body. Flavor is sort of earthy citrus. Certainly dry. Decently bitter. This is whacked in a good way.

12 oz can from The BeerHive in Pittsburgh. This is a palatable Saison that has a very pleasing mouth feel. 21st Amendment should be proud of their effort.

Can from GE Express. Pours hazy golden yellow with quickly dissipating, fizzy white head. Kind of funky nose with coriander, thyme and grass, some other spices. Bread and crackers with a tart, earthy undertone throughout and well into the after. Herbal and dirty hops linger throughout. Nice little, earthy saison
