(On tap) Beautiful, warm amber golden with a dense, creamy, off-white head - nitro. Lightly nutty, roasted aroma. Medium body with a lightly roasted malt profile and a very soft mouthfeel - as always with nitro beers. Ends dry and rather hoppy which seems to be the trademark for 21st. 190307 jcwattsrugger (12420) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JUN 21, 2011

Nice red-tinged amber with gorgeous, creamy, guiness-like head. Mild toasy, nutty malt aroma. Creamy mouthfeel, definitely nitrogenated. Pleasant mesh of grain, nuttiness and light malt w. toasted character. PilsnerPeter (3046) - Flushing, New York, USA - APR 14, 2009
Tap at the brewpub: Amber pour with a dense tan head. Simple one dimensional aroma of toasted caramel and diacetyl. Lightly chocolaty as well. Light (vacant) feel. Papery, diacetyl flavor. Sweet, buttery, not very pleasant. Vague and off. joet (2607) - Wilsonville, Oregon, USA - MAR 13, 2002
A lighter beer for the brewery at 5.6% ABV, this is also unusual as something red colored, lighter bodied and nitrogenated. Dim malt flavors with soft edges are present in the aroma and flavors and in the finish. Fruit flavors. An easy drinking brew.
