COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Toaster Pastry is an absolutely fantastic India-Style Red Ale, clocking in at 7.6% ABV and 74 IBU. Biscuit malts give the beer a slightly nutty, crust-like flavor, while pale and dark crystal malts create the mouthfeel and flavors reminiscent of strawberry jam. Calypso and other experimental hops give this ruby ale a welcome bite, plus a few more in the hop back for a toasty-sweet aroma.

Interesting nose with piney-strawberry notes. Medium body with a bit of sweetness and fresh fruit flavors, but not at all sticky or cloying. Nice overlay of bitterness, perhaps a touch of harshness. They got the name right on this beer. Great mix of toastiness and fruitiness.

Pours up a deep golden color with a nice off white head. Aroma is hoppy, mildly sweet with malts. Taste is really nice with big malty caramel followed by a good dose op hops for a long finish. Nothing about this reminds me of a toaster pastry, but good none the less.

A big resiny red IPA with loads of caramel malt to keep those resiny hops at bay. Super hoppy, but only lightly bitter. Some berry notes. Pours deep red cedar with tons of lacy beige head. Crisp and medium-light bodied.

FROTHINGSLOSH (8069) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 6, 2016
Sampled from a 12 oz can this beer poured an orange-white color with a large soapy orange-white head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was bitter with leafy piney hops and crystal malt. The flavor was bitter with fruity hops, pine, caramel and crystal malt. Long hoppy finish. Medium body. Meh.

Slightly hazy copper red with a solid white head. Aroma and taste are both strangely strawberry jam, with a mild hop buzz, and english fermentation notes into the finish. $1.7

12 oz single can shared, purchased at Bottles & Bitters at Sloan’s Lake. Resinous, light piney hops balanced by caramel malts over a medium body. Decent.

12oz can. Pours red with an off white head. Very tasty IPA with a bit more malt sweetness than the typical. The caramel malt notes worked well with the fruity hop notes. I’m definitely getting more of this stuff.
