Upon first review I give this a perfect rating for uniqueness. The aroma is strawberry with malt flavors and aroma that make this a true pastry in a can that is beer! The luxurious garner color in the appearance is topped off by a plush off-white head. A real treat for an IPA style red. twindog (274) - Hampstead, Maryland, USA - NOV 1, 2015
Poured from a massive red 19 oz can. Pours dark amber with a cream colored head. Aroma is fresh, juicy, tropical fruits, pineapple, and citrus. Flavor is light, sweet, toasted malt with caramel. Followed by big tropical fruit flavors of pineapple and mango,Finishing with citrus peel bitterness. Big, fresh and fruity.

This is a seriously good beer. The "pastry/pop tart" aspect is lost on me. Instead, what you have is a delicious red IPA with a very nice IBU and alcohol ratio. The malts offer a nice richness, while the hops don’t overpower the beer. Overall, deserve more attention despite the terrible name. Troupis (264) - - FEB 20, 2016
Awesome IPA! Granted I'm at a driving range so any beer might taste good but the complex hop palate with a fascinating red balance is really impressive. I'd think it was 100 IBU but only 74 and thinks it's the complexity of hop flavor they deceives.
Can in SoCal while golfing.
