Deep red mahogony clear. Toasty, some nice hops in there. Too alcoholy for my taste. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 21, 2012
Snifter on tap at Bakersfield for $8. Clear darker red color, good foamy off white head, good lace. Spicy hops, good malt profile, some chocolate, little jammy darker fruit. Smooth lighter carbonation, bigger body, more dry. Good bitter taste, little sweet. Good but not worth the cost

Appearance: Clear amber with a big off-white head and good lacing
Aroma: Floral and piney
Taste: Dusty caramel and pine
Very nice and tasty, easy drinking.
Big malty red. Pours dark red with light head. Unbalanced to me, it’s woody and sweet, and heavy, hops are there, but not enough to balance out. Tastes like it’s old and hops faded, but it was a fresh draft, so just unbalanced for me.

On draft at Trio in kitty hawk. Pours a clear deep amber with a thick off white head. Fruity hop aroma. Orange flavors. Crisp bitter finish. Nice beer. FROTHINGSLOSH (7796) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 12, 2012
Sampled on draft at D’s Monroeville this beer poured a red-amber color with a large fluffy tan head that left good lacing. The aroma had a strong boozy bite wtih candied dark fruits and caramel following. The flavor was bitter and rough with a strong boozy presence and intense candied fruits, caramel, fig and more booze following that up. Long boozy caramel and candied fruit finish. Moderately full bodied. Ok. joeneugs (6371) - Livermore, California, USA - NOV 10, 2012
On draft at Tap 25. It pours a copper color with an orange head. The aroma has big notes of tropical fruity hops, mainly pineapple, peach and some minor hints of pine. The flavor is pretty much the same with some caramel. BIg body, sweet and hoppy. I like! maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - NOV 5, 2012
Draught. Pours a clear and slightly reddish amber color with a moderate white head. Somewhat hoppy in both nose and taste. Nice bit of rye flavor to it. Very easy drink. Tmoney99 (14494) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 3, 2012
Draft. Poured dark redddish brown color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate earthy & sweet malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium dark sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations were met.
