Draft at Churchkey. Beautiful dark ruby pour, smallish frothy head with good lacing. Nose holds big lemon and tea hop character, spruce resin, sweet blood orange and touches of pink grapefruit- very nice, complex hoppy nose. Flavor holds huge orange, floral, and woody tea component, the perfect amount of malt balance. Can definitely feel the heat, but it’s welcome. Damn damn damn good. bhensonb (15352) - Woodland, California, USA - OCT 18, 2012
Tap at The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours dark ruddy copper with a 3+ finger creamy near-beige head. Warm, roasty, hoppy aroma. Full bodied. Tastes like a red with a lot of floral and citrus hop. Fun little hit of light pitted fruit in the end. Extremely tasty. maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - NOV 5, 2012

On draft at Tap 25. It pours a copper color with an orange head. The aroma has big notes of tropical fruity hops, mainly pineapple, peach and some minor hints of pine. The flavor is pretty much the same with some caramel. BIg body, sweet and hoppy. I like! Iphonephan (7025) - Jackson Hole/McLean, Virginia, USA - NOV 14, 2012

Snifter on tap at Bakersfield for $8. Clear darker red color, good foamy off white head, good lace. Spicy hops, good malt profile, some chocolate, little jammy darker fruit. Smooth lighter carbonation, bigger body, more dry. Good bitter taste, little sweet. Good but not worth the cost
