On tap at brewery. Dark brown with a fizzy off white head. Roasted grain aroma and taste with a sweet coffee finish and a breight silky palate. Zinister (1423) - Houston, Texas, USA - MAR 14, 2009
On tap at the brewery with theisti. Dark brown pour with small tan head. Coffee and malts on the nose. Flavor is coffee with good malt backbone. Decent porter. beastiefan2k (4054) - HdG (past: NYC, KS, Rain City), Maryland, USA - DEC 4, 2008
Growler from brewpub. What a tasty brew. Pours black with a strong tan head. Basically, the beer is very mocha-ish. The mocha also mixes well with a sweet roasted flavor and it all shines in the flavor. very easy drinking, kept guzzling glass after glass of this stuff. Flavorful enough for a beer geek but simple enough for a newcomer. theisti (4175) - Kansas, USA - NOV 19, 2008
Shaker pint draft at the brewpub. Pour is deep brown and ruby with a smallish tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, with some coffee. Taste is roast coffe, with smooth maltiness. Palate is medium, smooth and very easy drinking. Nice porter.
