On tap @ GABF. Cloudy amber pour with a white head. Aromas of sweet caramel, some straw, grass, and feet. Weird. Fairly piney, some wood, and herbs. Minimal citrus peel. Flavor is fairly bitter. Lots of pine and woody herbal character. A bit astringent and grainy. Some caramel sweetness to it. Not my thing. kermis (14478) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - OCT 12, 2013

Trying some of the lesser known breweries I wandered past 23rd Street looking for a change from the big or sour. This is a fine IPA that folks in Lawrence should spread the word about. It’s not worth a pilgrimmage but if you are driving west on the interstate might make a nice stop.
Aroma / Appearance - The golden bronze base is bubbly and excited. A rich head does not fall too low. Grapefruit, mango, and the smell of fresh fruit salad sticks in the air with a bright summery feel.
Flavor / Palate - Grapefruits and mango warm the throat. A lemony transition carries the bitterness into a pleasant finish. If I ever find myself driving in the area 23rd Street will be on my list of brewpubs to investigate.
Pours a deep amber orange with a large foamy off white lacing head. Aroma of pine, mixed citrus, caramel and hints of butter. Flavor of pine and grapefruit...aggressively bitter. Decent amount of caramel malt coming through and it tends to cover up the great hops used in this beer. RobertDale (6755) - Lansing, Kansas, USA - AUG 8, 2013
On tap at the brewpub. Comes a cloudy gold with a nice white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, and florals. Taste is grapefruit, florals, pine, and some malt. Bartender said 112 IBU’s.

Draft at the source. Hazy golden color, thick white head, solid lacing. Aroma of peppery hay. Taste is peppery straw. OK. beastiefan2k (4054) - HdG (past: NYC, KS, Rain City), Maryland, USA - JUN 20, 2009
Shaker @ brewpub. Color is hazy orange/copper. Aroma is very hoppy, fresh, and crisp. It is bitter fruit juice with light tea and sweet hops. Taste is more of the same with a strong bitterness coming through. It is really refreshing, good stuff. Long bitter finish. Much better than their regular IPA.
