Draft at the source. Clear golden yellow color, see pic please. Light floral aroma. Taste is lightly bitter, lightly fruity. TomDecapolis (4618) - Milton, Delaware, USA - FEB 8, 2013
Pours a lightly hazy golden amber with a medium bubbly white head that left sticky lacing. Aroma of light pine and citrus, some cereal grains and a touch of buttery notes. Flavor of Cheerios, piney hops, grapefruit and aggressively bittered. The diacetyl wasn’t as apparrent in the flavor but the bitterness was a little over the top for a standard pale ale and could have been covering some of the diacetyl. beastiefan2k (4076) - HdG (past: NYC, KS, Rain City), Maryland, USA - FEB 5, 2013
I have had this a few times before but I am drinking a 10oz pour right now and its full of diacetyl. You could see there is a decent light APA hiding there but this is an off batch. This is not the norm. I will leave this for the moment but will rerate when a new batch comes out. I have never experienced a similar issue at 23rd before.
