Sehr röstiger Malzantrunk, leicht süß. Im Mittelteil macht sich der Hopfen bemerkbar, der Einfluss der Röstigkeit ist klar erkennbar. Würzig-malzig werdend, vollmundig. Guter Einsatz des Malzes!

Draught. Dark, sweet and malty. Could do with more flavour.................. Scopey (14998) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 28, 2015
Bottle thanks to Fergus on the train to the Cotteridge Convention. It pours clear deep red-brown with a small white head. The nose is soft, sweet malty goodness, toasty brown sugar, caramel and mild spice. The taste is clean, bitter-sweet, cola, caramel, toasty, cardboard, mild toast and coffee with a dryish finish. Medium body and foamy carbonation. Smooth, balance and rather drinkable. Good Tmavy. DSG (14922) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - FEB 28, 2014
Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks kerenmk. Clear brown with a beige head. Aroma has mild roastiness with a light smoky note, malt, caramel, a bit of dark bread, a nutty hint and a faint diacetyl note. Slightly roasty flavor, slightly smoky, with caramel, some bread and a dry, more roasty, slightly bitter and herbal finish. Medium-bodied. Not bad.
