Pours a dark brown color topped with quite some tan colored head. Chocolate aroma, slightly roasty with some coffee notes in there. Taste is mildly sweet, chocolatey with some raosy notes. Finish slightly roasty and bitter, but all very gentle. I like dunkels very much, and this one really proved to be delicious. Lore (2898) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JAN 25, 2013

On Tap: 8. Internationales Berliner Bierfestival: UUUUh what a treasure. Nice malty corice nose - roasted. Dark red/brown color with a wonderful rocky head. Nice coffee taste - with hoppy intervalls. Grima (2506) - Merzkirchen, RLP, GERMANY - MAY 31, 2011
Pitch black color. Smells malty, very reserved, with hints of sweet coffee. Starts roasted malty, very recent and slightly bitter aftertaste. It has a really strong intense flavor, especially in the middle part is the aftertaste strong coffee-like.
TheCametron (2480) - CZECH REPUBLIC - MAY 17, 2012
Bottle. I remember tasting this first in Sternberk,CZ. Pours deep brown with an appealing red when held to the light. Nice beige head also. Light malty aroma. Flavour is light grassy hay hops and a touch of chocolate/caramel. Refreshing and easy drinking. Delicious. Mungo (2470) - Southampton, Hampshire, ENGLAND - SEP 28, 2006
Bottle (BB Sep 06). Deep mahogany colour. Toasty, roasty, fruity caramel and some smooth malts. Fullish, with carbonation pulling it down, but refreshing body not too sweet with glimpses of hop in the finish. Some slight charred edges to the roast flavours. Tasty.
