Origin of name: the name is taken from the name of the star Kvasar. The inventor of this beer was Mr. Jiří Jelínek, who began brewing beer at home in his brewery in Sentice not far from Tišnov. Taste: this beer is characterized by its good head, golden yellow to golden brown color, and good vigor and fullness, which incite further drinking and corresponds to the characteristics of semi-fermented Czech beers. It is distinguished by its slightly sweet character due to its well-balanced bitterness and subtle honey flavor.

BOTTLE 50 CL. Clear deep golden, big head. Sweet malts, baked fruit, some caramelized sugar - yep, this a sweeter kind of svetly! A touch of hops? A bit cidery too. The taste is similar, starts rather sweet, a mild spicy bitterness follows, a touch of alcohol. Smooth low carb body. Not bad.

Grima (2505) - Merzkirchen, RLP, GERMANY - MAY 31, 2011
Smells malty sweet, some aroma hops come through. Starts with lots of hops, some sweet malt aromas, also some hints of honey. Low carbonated. It tastes very sweet, honey really comes through a little. The aftertaste is slightly bitter, but very fine and not too pushy.

Bottled, thanks to FatPhil! Aroma of some honey, ginger & lemon. Taste slightly of honey, quite ok for a lager. Yellow-orange body.

0,5 l bottle, bought at Pivni Galerie, Prague.
Poured clear golden with a fine, creamy and very stable, foamy white head. Aroma is caramel and malt, sourish yeast and some grassy-herbal hop, some honey and vanilla. Medium body and smooth mouthfeel, fine sweet malt based flavor with honey and vanilla. Spicy hop bit on the palate, some freaky almond in the aftertaste.

Goldgelb mit ordentlicher Krone. Liebliches Malzaroma. Auch im Geschmack malzbetont nach Blütenhonig. Klingt angenehm herb aus. Guter Durchschnitt.

Podobnie jak poprzedni uczestnicy czeskiego tygodnia w Lidlu, to piwo jest wizualnie ok, ale cała reszta leży. Miodu nie wyczułem, za to kilo gwoździ i ogólny niesmak...
