The Prince Václav special wheat beer has a characteristic refreshing spicy and fruit taste, a light to straw colour with an opacity caused by the living culture of the dispersed brewer’s yeast, and a pleasant yeast aroma. It has a rich head and strong zest. During its production at least one half of the malt is wheat malt. It is produced once a year for the feast day of St. Václav.
editor’s note: ABV used to be 5.5%.

Tap at Zlý Časy. Hazy deep golden body, high white head. Aroma of bananas, sour wheaty tones. Taste is sour, very slightly sweet. Bananas, vanilla, wheat. Light body (slightly watery), higher carbonation.
I like this nice bananas. It’s very good commercial hefeweizen, even the body is thin.
