Nice hoppy light fruity taste. Pilsner Urquell like. Not bad for a beer pub, but it’s not as good as it used to be.

(Rating #4880)

On tap at Cerny Orel (06/03/13). Very murky hazy pour with frothy white head. Aroma is grainy, husk like grain aromas, light hopiness. Taste is slightly tannic, grain husk flavour, light grassy finish, more yeast than I could care for. Unrefined and rough around the edges, still quite drinkable.

3.2
MartinT (9880) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 10, 2013
My Bottom Line:
Sweetish bread flavors and herbal hop bitterness attempt to merge in the middle of this cushy, rough Svetly.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A creamy head of foam covers the cloudy beige.
-Carbonation is quite creamy.
-The herbal hop bitterness is higher than necessary.
-Light fruitiness is felt, as if the brew wasn’t fermented that cold.
-It’s still a friendly, drinkable brew ; just not one which can rival with the best in the region.

On tap at the brewpub.
