UPDATED: FEB 2, 2013 Spontaneously fermented fruit beer based on barley and wheat malt, Czech hops, Austrian sour-cherry extract and wild yeast. A declared beer type is not correct as lambic is produced by fermentation through exposure to wild yeast and bacteries Brettanomyces bruxellensis and B. lambicus. This beer should be defined as a Sour/Wild Ale. Anyway, it is a luxury beer. It has a fashionable red color with a short lasting white head. Its fruity & spicy aroma, sweety bitterness with notes of fruit stones and almonds gives a very fresh character to this beer. Medium bodied with a delicate carbonation. Incredible bitter almond and sour cherry palate and tannic aftertaste invite you to order a second one. A chocolate cake as a dessert is honestly recommended.
