Bottled. Dark-red colour. Small head. Light aroma of caramel. Light sweet in taste. Small amount of hops. Medium-bodied. Not bad dunkel. Zarkam (539) - Helsinki, FINLAND - NOV 3, 2013
500ml bottle from a supermarket in st. Petersburg, dark reddish brown colour, small mostly diminishing rocky offwhite head, very little lacing. Moderately malty roasted aroma with caramel, chocolate and mild coffee, moderate amount of herbal hops along with notes of plum and allspice. Taste is initially balanced bitterweet and slightly acidic, longish moderately bitter finish with a moderately astringent feel, soft carbonation, oily texture medium to full body. A fairly good dark lager, for a Russian one downright amazing, body felt a fair bit fuller than the degrees seemed. Nothing insanely interesting, but a solid decent beer with at least some character.
