Aroma is yeast, floral, tropical fruit and Carpi Sun. The flavor is tropical fruit, Capri Sun, fruit, hop resin, malts and a mix of tart, bitter and dry in the finish. bhensonb (15965) - Woodland, California, USA - OCT 4, 2013
Capped 750 from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, Mo. Pours hazy copper with a 3 finger creamy off-white head. Aroma (thru all that head) seems citrus and floral. Med body or better. Flavor is pretty darn hoppy, and the mild roast malt is almost annihilated. I’m voting now for flora and citrus flavor. Might be a touch of pine. Probably is. Nice stuff. And my face didn’t melt off. Lots of hop in a pale ale is the way to go. Finishes dry and bitter. justsayswell (285) - Kansas City, Kansas, USA - DEC 21, 2013
Pours a muddy copper with a pillowy head. Lots of lacing. Nose is dank pine hops, a little grapefruit. Great medium-bodied mouthfeel, carbonation is well-balanced. Taste is molasses bread, piney hop bitterness. Tastes like hop extract a bit though. Good hop flavor for only 37 IBUs. As it warms, the alcohol becomes more pronounced. Reminds me a bit of Dale’s Pale Ale. Really solid APA. Ktwse (5667) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 29, 2014
Pours hazy orange amber with low white head. Aroma of citrus, mango, peach, light vanilla and caramel. Taste is slightly resin bitter with balancing fruit sweetness. Light, smooth body with soft carbonation.

Bottle. Poured hazy copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate citrus hop and floral aroma. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Solid brew. deyholla (12583) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUN 22, 2014
On tap at Bailey’s. Pours a clear gold with a slight orange hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice sweet citrus with a light fruit note and a sweet grain backbone. Flavor has same sweet citrus with a bit more bitterness and light fruit as well as sweet grain backing. TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - JUN 23, 2014
Draft on tap at Bailey’s Range (St. Llouis, MO). Pours a nice glowing orange amber hue, a deeper glow, faint haze and mellow carbonation. Frothy offwhite head stays as a decent ring, laces ok. Aromas show some orange juice, grapefruit pulp and gentle florals. A kiss of melon, bready malts and decent bitterness kicks in. Initial is lighter end of the fold, pleasant gumball and melon meet some orange, a bit of bready malt with firmer bitterness as we start to move on. Grapefruit rind and pith, bitter florals and a bit of weedy green. The bitterness is on point, fresh and enjoyable with a bit of juiciness. Dry and floral finish with a bit of a fruity gumball/melon kiss. The beer is pretty fresh, hoppy with some nice fruity vibes and juiciness at times. Tasty. vyvvy (6835) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - MAR 30, 2013
Sampled at 4 Hand’s Lupulin Fest 2013 - 2nd shift continues with another winner here. Pours hazy orange with a white head. The aroma has mild caramel malt, cream and mild hop bitterness. It has a medium body that’s fairly lush and smooth with soft carbonation. The flavor begins with toasty malt, dry bread, grapefruit, pine and earthiness. The finish is resiny, dry and has a bit of tangerine. Lots of flavors packed in for one of the lower alcohol hoppy beers from 2nd shift. phaleslu (10895) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 22, 2013
750 ml bottle from in-person STL trade. Pours a cloudy bright golden color with a finger of cream-colored head that laces the glass. Notes of citrus, bread, herbs, grass, florals, dry grains, and faint tropical fruit. Light-bodied, with soft carbonation and a bready, bitter mouthfeel. Nice, well-balanced APA.
