750mL bottle thanks to secret Santa, pours a copper with a huge khaki head. Fruity mellow hop aroma with caramel malt. Big bodied resinous pine hops upfront pushing bitter until the finish with caramel and light toffee undertones. Not overly complex but I agree, Solid. b3shine (8878) - Indiana, USA - OCT 2, 2015
750 ml bottle to snifter. Looks solid; a cloudy deeper orange with eggshell head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells and tastes of bitterness and piney hops with a moderately bittersweet backbone. Some mild caramel too. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied. A solid example of the style. neepsntatties (1992) - Portland, Oregon, USA - SEP 26, 2015
Bottle courtesy of "hannont". Colour...hazy golden yellow with a thick white head. Nose...delightfully hoppy, floral and fluffy. Palate...crisp, bright and fresh with fruity hops and nips of pine. The simcoes give this IPA a nice pop and a clean finish. FlandersNed (395) - , Indiana, USA - SEP 18, 2015
25.4oz bottle. Hazy amber color/lg rocky off-white head. Tasted of aged citrus & a Belgian IPA. Probably old - no date sticker. Full- body and carbonation. ContemplateBeer (2089) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - JUN 17, 2015
12 oz. pour at Bridge Tap House & Wine Bar. Aroma: Strong apricot/peachy hop notes with a seemingly solid caramel/sweet biscuit malt nose. Appearance: Slightly hazy, copper colored beer with a skin of tan, bubbly head. Flavor: Good peach/herbaceous bitterness up front with a little grapefruit; caramel malts are pretty healthy, but do dry out and lead to a bitter finish. Palate: Medium body, sticky texture, average carbonation, bitter finish. Overall: Reminds me in some respects of a lighter Hopslam. I wasn’t over the moon about this, but it’s worth a go.

Pours a hazy orange copper with a creamy off white that retsina well and leaves good lacing. Aroma has lots of citrus with some biscuit malt, tropical undertones and gets catty as it warms. Taste of citrus rind, some tropical fruit, dankness, a hint of malt sweetness and a big briny bitterness. Finishes with a long lingering briny bitterness. Mouthfeel is semi oily with a medium body and moderate carbonation. Big flavors and bitterness that you find in quality IPAs, but they seem to be competing somewhat instead of totally complimenting each other. TylerGreenDC (953) - - AUG 20, 2014
On draft. One of the best IPAs I’ve ever had. Beautiful sweet, tropical, piney hop aroma, big sweet, stone-fruit flavor with a dry toffee-caramel finish. Possibly the least-known great beer in America.
