AON is the first beer I made at the brewery. It is a hop sandwich brewed with Simoce & Columbus hops, which are the greatest thing in the world besides a good smack in the face

Clear golden pour with a single finger head. Aroma is cat pissy. Taste has a fair amount of bitterness with a long, lingering grapefruit note. Some grain balances this out upon the second sip. Lots of lace present. As it warms up, some orange creeps in. Medium bodied.

Brewskival 2017. Smak och doft av humle, citrus, apelsin, apelsinskal, kåda och granskott. Murrig, obalanserad, alkoholen slår igenom.

On tap at the Beer Cellar in Glen Ellyn, IL. during a 2nd Shift distributor promotion, dispensed to a snifter showing a hazed, orangey/gold color, with a presentable layer of soft white froth, and spiraling strands of lacey foam. The nose was slightly dank, then an expressive combo of citrus, pit fruit, and a little pine. Medium bodied, with decent carbonation, the taste was similar, and included a moderate amount of citrusy, rind-like, and resinous bitterness. A solid IPA.

Draft pour pint at Brouwers, Seattle during their 12th anniversary party. All day celebration! Clean, and shiny golden pour with a sticky head and lacing. Tropical heavy hop.aroma. Flavor is thick, juicy hop quality a heavy malt. Clearly a big IPA, that surprises me that it isn’t a clear imperial. Overall a nice IPA. It’s like the guy that absolutely mashes at the AAA level, but never makes it to the big leagues for some reason.

Draft at Hair of the Dog STL; 2nd when I swore I would only have 1. Oops. Reminds me of lightly sweetened black tea with a little lemon plus some mild bitterness. Enjoyable.

Sample at Parkville fest. Hazy golden amver color, white head. Aroma of peaches and summer fruit. Taste is bittersweet stone fruit. Tasty.
