Bottle shared at the July MDF tasting. Clear copper, large fizzy tan head, good retention. Aroma of tropical fruits, zest and pithy citrus, caramel malt. The taste is tropical, citrus hops, caramel malt. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, mild lingering bitterness. Ibrew2or3 (8912) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - JUL 1, 2015
750ml bottle courtesy of gregwilsonstl, pours with a nearly clear copper body that supports a light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up sweetened tangelo and clementine flowing into a blend of floral hops and malts. The taste delivers pleasing hoppy layers of citrus juiciness and bitterness with pineapple and mango helping to add more depth. To midway it picks up more bitterness mixed with sweet malts and then some floral hops. This has tasty depth and balance. Pretty solid. M82 (469) - Kansas, USA - JUN 23, 2015
A vibrant tropical orange body with tall white head, massive citrusy, catty, piney hop character over sweet citrusy components on a wonderfully smooth medium body

1/25/15. On tap at 21st St in STL. Orange pour, nice khaki head, good lacing. Awesome aroma, huge fresh hop character, dank, pine, citrus, tropical, and more. Yum. Disappointing flavor, like Neurosis on steroids, but much sweeter and maltier, too much so, which kills it a little bit. Otherwise very enjoyable. DMBFAN1 (22) - - DEC 5, 2014
Very nice double IPA. Would buy again. Full hop flavor not too bitter.

On tap. Served a dark copper color with some lacing. Aroma of grapefruit, bit of pine, some malt sweetness and bit of grain, taste of citrus, bit of pine, some malt sweetness and grain nice bitterness and a fairly dry finish. Moderate body, crisp, with a nice hop bite. Nice beer for the style. Braudog (6900) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - NOV 22, 2014
Bottle. I have to chuckle at the label (not the one shown here, but one of a heavily "bearded" rooster chomping on a hop), and wonder if the BATF guy who approved the name and label could appreciate the double entendre of both the name and the label. Anyway .. nicely done aggressively hopped, high alcohol ale here. Full of citric, piney hop and a solid-as-a-flock malt back drop ... A+ beer. Hazy amber color with generous compact head. Nice aroma, musky, hoppy, fruity, a bit sweaty. Full bodied, moderately sweet, good malt flavor; potent hopping, very resiny, quite fruity, oranges. Very nice.
Bottle - Flowery and tropical fruit with some grapefruit. Cloudy orange with a nice white head. Long resinous finish. mcberko (19809) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 7, 2014
750mL bottle, pours an opaque dark orangey amber with a medium white head. Aroma brings out resinous hops, light tropical fruits, and a little caramel. Flavour brings out shitloads of tropical fruits upfront, followed by citrus zest and a little alcohol burn. Well-balanced, with a big malty profile in addition to the tropical fruity hops. Good stuff.
