Based on looks and mouthfeel alone, this beer could easily be mistaken for a coca-cola product. The head is bubbly to the point of annoyance, and the flavor is straight-forward American stout. Slightly bitter, but mostly unremarkable.

Faint roasted qualities, but this beer is mostly defined by its insane sourness. Not what you’d expect and not what you’d want. jtclockwork (16685) - , New Jersey, USA - SEP 18, 2014
Bottle thanks to Keir. Pours black tan head. Nose/taste of roast chocolate, coffee, toasted nuts and vanilla. Lighter medium body.

Draft on tap at The Bridge (St Louis, MO). Pours a deep blackish roasty pour, a gentle brownish ruby glow on the bottom and edges. Frothy tannish head atop stays as a decent frothy layer, sticks around as a mellow ring, laces well enough. Aromas are a bit of cocoa, darker sweetness with some toast, toffee and a faint waft of vanilla. Initial is lighter end of the fold, some toffee and toast. Gentle touches of coffee and biscuit, and mellow coffee. Backend is a bit toasty, more roast elements with just a bit of body. Small, approachable with decent roast and dryness on the backend. Not bad. Perhaps a touch underbodied but that works in this heat. deyholla (11721) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUN 21, 2014
Sampled from the tap at The Bridge. Pours a black with a dark brown head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has roasted malts and chocolate with a touch of coffee. Flavor has roasted malts and dark grains with coffee towards the finish. Beergeek23322 (2602) - Chester, Virginia, USA - JAN 7, 2014
1/7/2014. From tap. Pours black with a tan head. A little thin mouth feel. Coffee, chocolate, roasted mast aromas. Light bitterness on the finish, but lacking some body. Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - AUG 15, 2013
Dark brown pour with a tan head. The aroma is full of chocolate, cocoa and roasted malt. The flavor is very similar. I get a lot of cocoa notes as well as roasted malt and nuttiness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
