8800th rating. 750 ml bottle via STL trade, shared in California for RBWG with my pals. Pours an opaque midnight brown with a small dark tan head that settles into a ring. Notes of molasses, vanilla, fudge, charred oak, toasted sugar, tobacco, rye whiskey, and dark chocolate. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a rich, roasty, dry mouthfeel. Nice treatment. Bottle at hotel room fart share @RBWG 2016. Opaque black liquid with small tan head. Aroma of licorice, rye, wood, raw sugar, toffee and light coffee. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with notes of raw sugar, wood, bourbon and chocolate. Full bodied with low to medium carbonation. Nice. Bottle at RBWG 2016. Thanks phaleslu. Nose is lightly peppery and boozy. Some vanilla. Lots of fudge. Pitch black. Taste is great marshmallow and vanilla. Light fudge. Really great stuff. No alcohol noted. Thanks for sharing

Nose is big rye barrel, chocolate, peppery spice, dark malts, Cointreau notes.
Taste comprises chocolate cake, subtle barrel, toffee fudge, dark fruits, molasses, light coffee infuse.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, oily, warming alcohol in the close.

Bottle shared during RBWG 2016 - big thanks to P Hale. Pours thick black with a creamy beige head. Strong dark malts in the nose, some burnt coconut, vanilla, dark chocolate. Heavy sweet flavor with syrupy chocolate, alcohol, burnt wood, vanilla, raisins, figs. Full bodied, chewy, with fine carbonation. Draft to stemmed glass at Side Project Cellar (from notes). Looks good; an opaque black with foamy beige head. Smells good too; loads of chocolate alongside notes of vanilla and oak.
