When this beer is poured, there is a very large head on top of the hazy light yellow color, and the aroma is smells like sour fruit and dough yeast. The taste is mildly sweet and slightly sour, and the palate combines a medium body, thin texture, abrupt finish, and a lively carbonation, which is the most prominent of any of the beer’s qualities. Bottle. Pours with a hazy golden hued body with a white head that leaves good lace. Aromas are of oak, lactone, suntan lotion, citrusy, funky, dry, medium yeasty, esters, lightly grassy. Flavors are very dry and fruity, grainy, light oak, funky phenolics, citrus, rich, dupont like yeast, with a bit of an aged brett character. Lively carbonation and a bone dry finish. arminjewell (9585) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - FEB 9, 2013
Pour out of bottle, Darkness Day 2012, thanks Aaron! Hazy orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of nice white fruit, biscuit, bread, some slight grass, grain, nice yeasty notes in there as well with a touch of some slight spice in there. Taste is a nice balanced mix of white fruit, biscuit, bread, yeast, hints of grass, grainy notes, slight spice, finishing fairly sweet but nice and dry as well.

Bottle @ Darkness Day 2012 shared with friends and a couple of dirty hippies. A bit hazy, pretty bright golden appearance with an off white head. A bit spicy, straw, light lemon citrusy, a bit herbal aroma. Mild barnyard, somewhat spicy, lemon citrusy flavor. Not a bad brew and I’m looking forward to having more of their stuff in the future. Enjoyed at home. 750ML in a HFS tulip at 65 Degrees F. Pours a gorgesous bright clear yellow. Huge solid white carbonation that starts big and fades to a finger and sticks around with a huge amount of bubbles. Smell is full of honey and grapes with wheat and french bread. Taste is Unique. Sort of boring bland chewy wheat taste followed by a very dry grape skin taste, honey and spices. j12601 (11133) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - AUG 8, 2012

Sample from beer fest. Poured a copper color with a smaller white head. Did leave behing minimal lacing. Aroma was citrus, grapefruit and spruce. Flavor was balanced. Citrus with grapefruit that finished with some hoppy pine balance. Decent beer.
