UPDATED: JAN 22, 2018 750 ml bottle from The Party Source at home from notes. Pours a hazy orange amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have orange citrus, pine resin, pale malts, caramel, fades at finish, not sure how old the bottle was at the time. DocJitsu (2077) - Pensacola, Florida, USA - DEC 4, 2016
Pours a hazy golden with a large, well-retaining, orangeish tan head. Carbonation bubbles fight sluggishly to rise to the top of the beer. Also ran nose: some orange and pine. Becomes progressively, yet only mildly harsh in the nasal passages. Flavors are no surprise given the nose. drfabulous (8991) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - NOV 19, 2016
750 ml bottle. Just entered market but with a late September bottling date. Dark orange with tangerine notes throughout. Fruit settles into a nice smoothness. coachd (999) - Missouri, USA - APR 9, 2016
Hoppy funky aroma. The hops are not sharp, more muddled, unique compared to other hop scents. Appearance is dark burnt orange with a bright white head. The taste is dank, earthy, with some funk and a smooth non-bitter aftertaste. Palate is not overly carbonated like a lot of IPAs. An above average offering from 2nd Shift, not as good as Brew Cocky like I figured it would be, but it is worth drinking anyway. kaser (6464) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 28, 2015
Draft pour at the bridge in St. Louis. Super fruity and citrusy - apricot and tangerine happiness. This is a top tier IPA.

750ml bottle, thanks to Colin. Sticker on the bottom reads 12/2015. Enjoyed from my IPA glass. A sorta hazy orange amber color. Great big pillowy thick off-white head, that stays put, and leaves great thicker lace. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, kind of soft, creamy lighter carbonation. Mild slick, leading to a dry finish. Good bit of pepperiness, nice citrus, some biscuity bready malt. Longer kind of citrusy spicy hop aftertaste. Moderate to bigger bitter taste, moderate sweet, mild touch of pleasant warmth. Nice DIPA. Good bit of both malt and hop. Went through the bottle pretty quick. Sweeter than typical, but somehow I like that here. Solid to enjoy on it’s own, and with my sandwich. 750ml bottle courtesy of gregwilsonstl, pours with a nearly clear copper body that has thin gold hues and supports a light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up pink grapefruit, pineapple, candied lime and a resiny hop note blended with softly bready malts. The taste starts with pineapple and candied lime hops rolling into a resiny lime to bitter floral hop note. To midway it picks up malt sweetened fruity hops as well as persistent hop bitterness. Interesting as the lime and floral and tropical fruit notes try hard to pull this together and they nearly make it. Cool brew with a fairly unique hop profile. umich03jm (3512) - Flat Rock, Michigan, USA - MAY 17, 2015
Bottle. Thanks Jason for sharing. Dark copper pour with a huge foamy head that fades away normally to a thin film and collar. Leaves nice lacing. Dank aroma of candied citrus fruit, pineapple, peanuts, caramel and bread. Tastes like candied citrus fruit mostly but without the overpowering sweetness that you normally get from that. Also get pineapple, pine, peanuts, light flowers, and light caramel. Medium to full body. Really like this overall. Don’t think I’ve had many Zythos hopped beers but I think I need to seek them out more. ineedbeer (2325) - Oakland, California, USA - MAY 11, 2015
Poured from a bottle with a best by date of 07/2015. Aroma is fairly malty with quite a bit of toasted bread and caramel with lighter pale cracker malt notes. Moderate hop aromas of grapefruit and tropical fruit. Pours a hazy reddish copper color with a large, thick, light tan head that exhibits nice retention. Moderately high lacing and medium sized legs. Flavor is similar to the aroma with a fairly strong toasted bread and caramel note with lighter nut and cracker notes; this is straying close to American barleywine. Flavor has moderately high bitterness. Moderate grapefruit and citrus notes with lighter pine resin and tropical fruit. Some nice fruitiness in the finish once the malt character fades. Mouthfeel is medium to medium full bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, this is a clean beer but entirely too malty for my personal taste. The hops are nice but hidden behind all the caramel malt and toasted bread notes. jdskinns (220) - South Roxana, Illinois, USA - SEP 26, 2014
