COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lightly toasted and used in 3 Daughters Oatmeal Stout, flaked oats give a comforting silkiness that accentuates the hint of chocolate aroma and dark coffee flavor that are provided by the roasted barley and chocolate malts. With a dense and creamy tan head, smooth body and a slightly dry finish, this is the beer that is letting the world know that oatmeal is not just for breakfast anymore.

Draft at 4th St tavern in St Pete. Solid dark brown pour. Minimal aroma. It’s all about the flavor. Tastes great. Stout with a bit of bitter kick.

Sampled during RBWG Tampa 2015. Deep brown pour with a modest khaki head. Charred grain nose. Roast. Dark chocolate. Some coffee. Flavor is fairly hoppy. Moderate bitterness. Pepper and dark chocolate. Quite dry. Earthy. Medium body, soft carb.

Keg at the brewery tap during RBWG ’15, 20/02/15. Light black with a moderate tan covering. Nose is roast malt, chocolate, spice, toffee. Taste comprises spice, charr, chocolate, dark malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a roasted finale. Decent enough stuff.

2/20/15. Sampled during RBWG 2015. Dark brown pour, almost black, light tan head. Mild aroma, doughy malts, caramel, light chocolate. Good flavor, light chocolate and coffee, cream, caramel. Not bad.

Draft... RBWG 2015… Pours dark brown (nearly black) with flashes of ruby and a small, creamy, beige head. The aroma is a swirl of roasted nuts, chocolate crème, fudge and vanilla. Full-bodied with prickly carbonation. The well-balanced flavor is roasty and chocolaty. Finishes nutty and singed.
