Bottle shared at the Cotteridge convention, 24/01/2015. Huge thanks to BeersIveKnown for this one. Hazed orange / onion skin coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is big onion, musty, funk, clean citric acid, spicy. Flavour is composed of crisp tart, orange pith, citric acid, pretty clean. Suberb. Palate is sharp and tart, airy carbonation, . Horsey, musty funk in the finish. A realt pleasure.

UPDATED: DEC 31, 2015 Dark golden with white head. Aroma is spring. Full of hope, life, flowers, citrus and horses without the shit. Spritzy, fresh and lively finish. Overall: Believe the hype. This is spring in a bottle.

Medium dark orange with a white head. Musky cinnamon, basement aroma. Flavor is so smooth, a bit of bright sweetness to offset the dank wood lemon sourness. Pleasant soft funky geuze, incredible.

Bottle share at Cotteridge Wines. With huge thanks to Beersiveknown. Cloudy hazy orange, small ring of white head. Aroma is spicy with dirty, earthy lemon notes. Body is medium, very foamy, low-ish carbonation. Taste is very, very sour and bretty. Lemon, vinegar, acidic. A bit too harsh I thought.

24th Jan 2015: shared bottle at the Cotteridge Wine meet. Brought and poured by a proud Steve (Beersiveknown) during the event. . Hazy golden body with a mean, thin white head. Sour from the off, this is one tart beer with a heavy citrus presence within it’s flavouring. Not my sort of beer usually, but this was very pleasant and a good foil for the malty sweeter beers it was surrounded by on the tasting day. Acidic but nice!

Bottle share. Cotteridge Beano. In the midst of an onslaught, this stood out. Tart. Acetic. Rich. Smooth. Cleansing. All at once. Subtle lemon. Bit cheesy. Bit funky. Lovely balance. A highlight.

Bottled, sampled at The Cotteridge Convention, many thanks to Beersiveknown for this one. Hazy gold with white head. There is a pleasing citrus note in the aroma and this follows into the beer, nicely tart and palate cleansing, hints of bitterness, good restrained acidity. Really very pleasant indeed.
