Bottle 750ml. @ RBESG 11 Grand Tasting at Dean Swift, 10 Gainsford Street, London, England SE1 2NE.
[ As my rating # 22000 on ratebeer ]. Unclear medium orange colour with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy yeasty, barnyard, grapefruit, citrus, tart, sulfur notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and light acidic with a long duration, funky, dry. Very nice and very good balanced ;O) Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft and fizzy.
75 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is dry barnyard. Dry fruity, barnyard and spiced. Brett and leathery. Dry and brett finish. Dry and smooth. Ungstrup (38246) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAY 8, 2012
Bottled. An unclear dark amber beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of dusty hops, oranges, vinegar, wood, brettanomyces, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of wood, wet hay, brettanomyces, caramel, and bread, leading to a dry moldy finish. joergen (29007) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 9, 2012

Bottled (from bierkompass.de). Amber colour, big off-white foamy head, that settles quite quick. Aroma is big time sour/tart notes with mild fruity notes as well as quite big farmyard. Flavour is tart/sour fruits, some earth, yeast and farmyardy dusty notes. Childrens lambics are blown away by this kick ass hardcore gueuze. Brilliance in a bottle I dare say. Expensive, but worth every penny (or cent!). Travlr (25876) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - APR 30, 2011
Unlabelled bottle at the source. Shared with BigMomma. Murky variegated golden brown color, massive dark tan head with flavor flecks. Amazing retention. Aroma is spectacular! "That’s from the Challenger hops," said Armand. I’m the only one who uses them." Scents of rye flour, leather, sesame, biscuits and grandma’s attic. Taste is toasted dark bread, citrus and sesame breadsticks. Wonderful. cgarvieuk (25742) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 8, 2011

Scopeys East Croydon tasting. Big thanks to Paul for bagging this one and sharing it! Hazy amber beer, tidy white head. Mildly sour nose. Crisp dry palate. Mild woody and mild fruity sourness - trace of vinegar. Trace of white wine. Dry finish. Ok - there was much serious nodding of heads going on for this one from people I respect and who know beer, whereas yours truly was mostly scratching his. I mean I like this beer and I would happily have it again but I’m not getting this upper 4 wow factor at all. If I live to be a 100 - I may never fully understand this style!
