"similar to Herfst (the descriptions are identical) but this blend comes across a little mellower, with the flavor and aroma not being quite as explosive. i don’t know if that means an older blend or a newer. i slightly prefer the Herfst to this, but they are both damn good. Lemons, aged hops, stinky cheese...very nice." neepsntatties (2076) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 19, 2014
Bottle sample courtesy of "hannont". Colour...deep, hazy apricot with a corpulent white head. Nose...plenty of funk as well as yeasty bits, cotrus notes and those challenger hops. Palate...generous CO2 starts the show then the funky-acetic quality shows itself while being melded nicely with white vinifera grape essence and notes if tropical fruits. The mouthfeel is generous and plush, and finish dances gracefully across the soft palate. Aaron68 (608) - Oslo, NORWAY - AUG 15, 2014

The last in a series of four seasonal geuzes, hopped with Challenger and blended from only 3 Fonteinen lambic. With the gainings of this and the other seasonal geuzes, Debelder tries to fund a new lambic brewery of his own, so never mind the price. Compact, stable head, complex and refined lambic aroma, sour cream, dry sherry, hay, horseblanket, bitter honey, fruity esters; very fruity taste, lively, sparkling like champagne, dry sourness but more ’mellow’ lactic acid than sharp citric acid and therefore a ’malse’ geuze, very well-balanced and very elegant, long complex finish. This is a truly wonderful geuze, among the best I’ve tasted so far, and I had most of them - it is just a pity I didn’t get the chance to compare this with the three other versions, thàt would have been interesting... djd07 (16317) - Houston, Texas, USA - AUG 2, 2014
Bottle thanks to Bruce. Pours a cloudy orange with huge frothy off white head that lasts leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is strong funk, rubber, oak. Medium mouthfeel with strong funk, leather, oak, citrus, green apple, very good.

Orange pour, mineral, bitter, bold, light leafy, tartness, high carb, some bitterness at end balanced by bright tartness, as it warms much more tart. Luk_ (243) - Quebec, CANADA - APR 28, 2014
First Armand to crack. Beautiful dark amber with rocky head. Very dark for such a young lambic. Classic 3F funk with more fruits. Aroma is more tame than the regular 3F, very classy. I really like the taste with definite sour cherries along with the funk. Very sour but somewhat sweet reminiscent of cherries. Full bodied but a little drier.
