Ok, this is simply a new 3 font tick. Oddly limey and acidic. Sawdust and stale GT (10000) - San Diego, California, USA - DEC 28, 2012
330mL found in La Bodega in Ontario, CA. No bottle date. Pours an ugly deeper golden. Clear though sediment is caked to the bottom. Head formation enormous with incredible retention and big lacing. Nose is stale and somehow a bit skunky. After breathing a bit the aroma gains honey, pale malt, some sticky candies. Still smells more like a macro import lager. Taste is old, soapy, pretty ripe :/ sickly sweet, cloying, grainy, corn. Feels like macro garbage. Ick. De Proef strikes again. Scopey (14519) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 21, 2012
Bottle from 3F bottle shop. It pours clear golden yellow with a medium white head. The nose is sweet fruit... yellow plum, nectarine and banana as well as dough, spice and faint butter. The taste is grass, straw, spice, dough, some bitterness, unripe banana, yellow plum, white sugar and alcohol, with a very dry finish. Light-medium body and lively carbonation. Not really enough body to carry the alcohol. Run of the mill blonde Belgian ale. sherm1016 (1274) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 9, 2012
33cl bottle from Discount Liquor Milwaukee. Pours a deep, clear, yellow color with a white head. Aroma is yeasty, fruity, banana. Medium on the palate with fizzy carbonation. Flavor is sweet, bready, spicy Belgian yeast, clove maybe, some grassy hops, with a dry, spicy finish. A nice Belgian blond ale. bhensonb (15096) - Woodland, California, USA - DEC 9, 2012
Bottle from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours gold with a fizzy off-white head. Aroma of mixed light stone fruit and mild yeast/spice. Full bodied. Flavor is very light stone fruit, with some fruit sour, maybe a hint of banana ester, and some earthy/spicy bitterness. Finishes mouth smackingly tasty. Partly because it seems a bit astringent. No regrets. Good brew.

Clear light orange amber with a good, long-lasting head cover and curtains of lace. The taste is bright caramel malt with candied fruit and a light bittering in the finish. The total experience is far better than the component parts. A solid (not too sweet!) Belgian Ale. Recommended. tderoeck (9480) - Gent, BELGIUM - AUG 31, 2012
30/VIII/2012 33cl bottle @ 3 Fonteinen open deur (Beersel) - BB: n/a (2012-979) DavoleBomb (1867) - Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 10, 2012
Clear blond to golden beer, huge creamy frothy off-white head, very stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: sweet candi sugar, bit floral, ripe peaches, summer fruit. MF: good carbon, medium body, creamy texture. Taste: some citrus first, grassy hops, little fruity, dried apricots, bitter hops, bit floral. Aftertaste: bitter hops, pretty fruity, citrus, grassy, touch of honey.
Poured into a snifter.
3.5 A: Moderately hazed orange brown color. Two plus fingers of frothy/creamy white head. Retention is good and an irregular ring of lacing is left.
4.0 S: Sugary frutiness with a good spicy backbone. Good bit of pepper. Peach and candied pineapple fruitiness. Clean overall except for a light yeastiness. Quite pleasant.
3.5 T: Taste is like the nose, but less sharp. The sugariness is reduced, but is still there. Peach and pineapple fruitiness again. Very subtle pepperiness. Touch of yeast and touch of breadiness, though still clean. Not bad.
3.5 M: Medium body. Good moderate carbonation. The only thing I donít like is that the carbonation isnít super spritzy, which is what I love most about Belgian mouthfeels. Reasonably creamy.
3.5 D: Solid beer though it is a little weird having a non-sour from 3F.

0.33l bottle shared with The Tasting Crew. Pours a cloudy golden-honey one, lots of floaters and a small sidesticking just off-white head. On the aroma this is not extreme. I get some sweet corn, light yeasty fruits, hints of oranges and spices. Itís average carbonated and it has a light oily texture. Flavors are at first a bit almost dry. Then light malty-sweet mixed with a soft sourness as well. I also get some mild alcohol and yeasty fruits here. A lasting - almost stingy alcoholic aftertaste. Nice enough, but not something I have to try again. 16.06.2012 ClubGonzo (5668) - Bergen, NORWAY - JUN 22, 2012
Bottle, shared with BBGTC. Hazy honey-hued body, medium short-lived white head. Aroma is grainy "wet" malt tones (hard to describe...), Belgian ale yeast, hints of honey and alcohol. Taste is floral heather tones, sour-ish red berries, grains and hints of grassy hops and honey. Medium body, well carbonated. Pretty nice, but no real winner. I wonder why 3F bothers with this kind of projects.
