I had this just as Mads and Jeppe at the 3 Fonteinen restaurant with a dish of rabbit in gueuze - just 2 months later.joergen (29789) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 25, 2006
The beer is hazy orange-brown with an orange head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of caramel and candy sugar, but also slight notes of acidity and wood. The flavor is lovely sweet with a trace of acidity in the background as well as notes of oranges. The mouthfeel is quite flat. This is really a kids drink - very sweet.
Hazy orange coloured with a very small head.
Aroma of fruits with light acidic notes and notes of marzipan and wood.
Flavour of fruits, wood and marzipan.

On draught at the source. Murky orange. Huge head. Good sweet/sour balance. Perfect with mussels. omhper (26033) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JUN 3, 2006
[Draught at Københavnske Øldage] Cloudy orange, no head. Lively barnyardy aroma. The sweetness is subdued, but it opens the flavours of the lambic, and lifts them to another level. The mouthfeel is so beaustifully soft and the flavours concentrated. Usually faros are seen as dumbed down lambics, but in this case it’s just maginificent. Hazy amber golden, no head whatsoever. Tart aroma with some toffee notes. Fairly light-bodied with a distinct sweetness and some rather unusual - but interesting - accents of dried fruit. Lovely. 190506 Beerhunter111 (23757) - Beerland, GERMANY - MAR 5, 2017
On tap. Trübes dunkel orange goldenes Bier. Geruch fruchtig würzig, hefig, reife Pfirsich. Geschmack fruchtig, leicht säuerlich, Steinobst, würzig, hefig, nicht zu süß, lecker. Leighton (23090) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 21, 2017
Draft at lambik-O-droom. Pours a glowing orange-gold with a dense, lasting white froth. Nice aroma, with suggestions of tangerine and candies orange peel, faint grass, biscuits. Medium sweet flavour with - thankfully - somewhat restrained sugary character. Modest acidity, some tangerine, hay and grass. Medium bodied with light, massaging carbonation. Sweet finish with moderate citric bite, some further pale bread, lemon. Nice stuff.
