Bottle pours clear reddish color with off white head. Aroma is sour vinegar, raspberries, horse blanket. Lively mouthfeel from the carbonation. Taste follows the nose. There is a robust raspberry taste that makes this a very good brew. There is some noticeable oxidation beginning to set in. It wasnt enough to detract from the deliciousness this beer has to offer. It was just noticeable. A great beer.

A 750ml corked and caged bottle, bottled on 30th June 2015, and best before 30th June 2025. Poured into a Cantillon ballon glass. It poured a hazy deep ruby red colour with a thin pinkish head that faded fairly quickly and left only sparse to no lacing. Aromas were of strong cherry tartness with jammy fruit sweetness and oak. There are hints of raspberries, lemon zest and light funk. Tastes sour, tart, cherry, raspberry, oak, lemon zest and vinegar with a touch of funkiness. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall this was just great. Surprisingly the cherry was much more prominent than the raspberries and the funkiness was less than expected but, this was still extremely drinkable, tasty and enjoyable. On my must buy list.

750ml bottle - Overpriced Beer Tasting 2016 - thanks martjoobolut!
Cherry stone aroma, a touch pissy, more cherry fruit, other red berries. Very sharp palate, not unexpectedly so. Sweetish cherry fruitiness in the taste, but a nice sourness. Pouring the crap in, its sweeter and fruitier. Finish is sharp. Definitely a classic lambic, a classic kriek, but lacking the wow factor.

Overpriced beer tasting 2016. Rating #3000. 0.75l bottle, shared by Mart, thanks! Slightly hazy red beer, small off-white head. Nose is woody, tart, but fairly smooth, raspberry, red wine, some acidity. Flavor is tart, dry, palate on the lighter side, finish is fruity, raspberries, very dry, more wood. Pretty complex and balanced.

Bottle share in High Wycombe. Holy shitballs and thanks to Paul. As 3 Fonteinen Hommage, 2013 vintage. Hazy purpley brown, minimal head. Aroma is very intense raspberry, musty burnt plastic, vinegar, old jam, dirty lambic stuff. Body is smooth and rounded with soft carbonation. Taste is pretty acetic, red wine, intense raspberry, sour cherries, more vinegar, lightly grainy with a dry acidic finish. A touch of the sour brown about it in some ways. A very tasty beer. (4.0)
