375 mL bottle courtesy of Tyson, served in a snifter. Pours intense red wine with a small pink head that fades to a thin remnant and leaves no lace. The nose has huge notes of cherry and flowers, along with dust, subtle earth and dust. The flavour is balanced, mildly tart and moderately sweet, with a load of cherries. The finish is medium in length and soft with more cherries. On the palate it is medium in body with a silky smooth texture. Overall, this is a very nice kriek. Full of cherries but also delicate. 2014-03-08 sitzds (318) - - MAR 25, 2014
UPDATED: FEB 15, 2015 12.7 oz bottle poured into shaker. Clear red to purple with no head or lacing. Aroma is tart cherries, cherry cough syrup, sour cherry, breadcrumb malt, and some oak. Taste is moderately sour with lactic acidity under cherry skin flavors, lightly sweet cherry juice, and if you focus there?s a little wood and leather bitterness; the medicinal flavor is prominent, which I find unfortunate. Light to medium body, sticky texture, low carbonation, and a lip-puckering dry finish. GTAEgeek (2569) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - APR 17, 2014
375 mL bottle shared at Ale Alpharetta. Pours dark red, with a small, pink head. The aroma is a lot of cherries, but not in a medicinal way, with some lactose and wheat. Strong fructose sweetness, with a nice, funky sourness. Medium to heavy body, sticky, and syrupy. Overall, this is more fruit than lambic, but still an enjoyable and delicious beer. demmbonz (784) - Erin, Wisconsin, USA - APR 26, 2014

2014-07-23. Dark red purple body with a small pink head. 3+ Strong cherry aroma, light funk. 7++ Flavour is quite fruity, mildly sour throughout but it grows as you go. Lightly lactic touches, with vinous notes in the finish and aftertaste. Average plus bodied palate, soft carbonation. 3+ Pretty nice but not particularly complex compared to some of their other offerings. Pour is transparent blood red with almost no head, a touch of dark purple foam on top. Nose has lots of cherry up front with a moderate amount of funk. It’s gets a bit leathery after the traditional earthy mushroomy funk with a bit of rubber band. Taste is stronger cherry, pitted ripe dark red cherry. The funk is lighter, a touch earthy and some rubber band through the back. Fairly sour finish with a light body and strong carbonation. DutchDrebus (6366) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - SEP 20, 2014
Bottle shared with Angela. Deep ruby colour with a small pink head. Smells mint, cherry, cherrypeel, sourish, astringent. Tastes sour, mint, cherry, cherry peel, slightly dusty, wood. Thin to medium body, soft carbo. Decent, but lets not act like this is jofel. MrHangover (4693) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - JUL 2, 2013
Bottle. Pours a clear dark red beer with a pink head that dissipates really quick. Aroma of cherry, Brett, some oak and some vineous characters. Flavour is quite sour with some fruity notes mixed into it. Aftertaste is very dry and sour. Definitely some oak in flavor. Quite nice beer. boFNjackson (4230) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 24, 2013
Bottle @ a recent bottle share... Poured an "intense red" with a thin head. This reminded me of a cross between NG Wisconsin Red and Caractère Rouge. Big cherry notes, candied sugar tones. Some tartness came in during the finish but this was mostly a soda-pop, sugary cherry bomb. Which I believe is what they were going for here.
