Bottle, best before 10/26/37 (blend 17). Pours with a hazed, a relatively dark (for Gueuze), amber tinged, sunset orange hued body with a large off-white head that fizzes away to a ring. Many bubbles rising the walls of the glass. Aromas are decidedly rustic with 3F funk, damp leaves, parm cheese rinds, aged hops, dehydrated stone fruit. Mild malt toastiness, old attic. Good lambic earthy, mushroom-y brett qualities. A bit more caramelized wood and oak lactone character than I recall in the regular 3F Oude Gueuze, but it has been a little while since I have had it. Flavors show more funk than acid (as always). Acid comes across lemon-y and very clean (only the faintest hints of acetic). Balanced aged hop and mild tannic bitterness, faint salinity in the finish. Light leather. Appropriately high, mouthfilling carbonation. Dry, mildly puckering finish. Light and bright on the palate. A bit reserved. A masterful and tasty beer as expected from 3F. A bit more brooding than the normal Gueuze but equally as tasty (not immeasurably more so though). Quite enjoyable, but not one of the truly epic blends from this blender!

37,5cl bottle. Blend #17. Season 16-17. Bottled on: 25.01.17. BBD: 26.10.37
Golden color white head that quickly dissapears. Aroma is yeasty with a high presence of vinegar and barnyard notes, peachy hints. Flavor is acidic, slightly citrus, peachy, yeasty, some leather hints. Final with notes of lemon peel, excellent sourness.

375 ml bottle shared.Bottled on (10/12/2015) Opens with a big plop, but no gushers our whatever.
Appearance: A quite hazy orange body, with a nice white head, that collapses quickly to a smaller, but quite stable head.
Aroma: Cheese, Funk,Cholirine, wood and some malts.
Taste: Funk, Chees, some wood and malts in the back with a vinious gentel tart finish. Aftertaste is more tart, with still chees and wood.
Just below aerage carbonation, medium body.

Solid Lambik, but I had better. Seems a bit overhyped to me, but maybe that's me and my love & hate relationship for this style.

piwnepodroze (539) - POLAND - DEC 7, 2017
Mega pijalne piwo! Po prostu rewelacja!

375ml bottle of blend 17 from 16-17 season. About 10 months old from bottling. Pours an orangey brown color with a bit of sparkling head that dissipates quickly. Wonderful balance. Easy going funk flavor. Delicate. Lemony citrus tartness.

Aus der Flasche in BXL getastet. Trübes Amber mit weißer Schaumdecke. Feine säuerliche Nase. Sehr gut verschnitten.
