COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Golden Blend is made with 4 year old Lambic that accounts for 25 % of its contents, the rest of the blend is made up by a "secret" combination of 1, 2 and 3 year old Lambic.

The exact mixture is only known by the master-blender Armand himself.

The name "Golden Blend" is not far away from the truth, in fact, the 4 years of maturation in oak-wooden barrels is making this particular Lambic very expensive.

Due to the "evaporation" through the barrels, only a small percentage of the lambic is left over after 4 years of maturing.

The 2015 version (bottle date 12/03/2014) has 7.5% ABV (although some labels say 6%)

Bottle. Aroma is potent sour grape, white wine, apricot, and cranberry, with a little wheat in the mix together with faint oak and a little burnt match and cork. Hazy orange appearance under a lasting, lacy, rocky white cover. Sour grape, cork, cranberry, apricot, and white wine flavour with a moderate to medium oaky bitterness and moderate horseblanket. Dry and mouth puckering. Medium high carbonation, light body.

03/2014 Vintage: Consumed 02/2016. AROMA: Tropical more straight off the bar. Earthy, petrichor. Dank cellar, dry, woody. Amazing. APPEARANCE: A Deep amber with an orange hue. Very lively, a good clean white head which lasts. TASTE: The taste is pretty damn complex. Tropical fruit namely pineapple along with green apples. Subdued fink although I had a noble of blue cheese alongside and this thing just came alive with pure funk dank funkyness. PALATE: Rich, decadent, syrupy, quenching, mega carbonated. Oily mouthfeel, very sour. OVERALL: Pricey but worth the money. It really is a step up on am already outstanding drink. Love it.

Al palato pompelmo e pesca, uva bianca, legno umido, mandorla tostata, polvere, frumento, lievemente astringente, note di miele, coda molto complessa caratterizzata da legno, polvere, erbaceo, pompelmo, uva bianca. 375 mL bottle shared by Gus with ebone1988 and I. The pour is a dark bubbly gold with a thicker white head that remains as a film and thick collar. The aroma is very, very acidic. There is a heavy battery acid thing happening, and it's not good. The it's got a nice sour on the back end, but it's just way too acidic. The flavor is all battery acid. It's heavily acidic. Not good at all. There is a nice sour that builds, but it's impossible to drown out the acidity. The mouth feel is light and crisp with a bubbly carbonation and a lingeringly acidic aftertaste. It's heavy acid, that's for sure. It has chance but this thing needs to mellow out a few years. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: MAR 26, 2016 Wygl?d. M?tny pomara?czowy. ?adna i drobna piana, niestety bardzo szybko znika.Aromat. Gdy ww?chuj? si? mocniej, i wyczuwam lekk? nut? octu winnego, kwa?ne jab?ka, cytryn?. Po zamieszaniu wychodz? s?odkie aromaty kwiatowo-miodowe z lekk? sugesti? s?odkich owocw.Smak.
