COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Blend of 1, 2, and 3 year old lambics.
A true Geuze - a blend of 1, 2, and 3 year-old lambic, unfiltered and unpasteurized, and aged in the bottle for at least a year after blending. Refermentation in the bottle gives this Geuze its famous champagne-like spritziness. The lambic that goes into it is brewed only with 60% barley malt, 40% unmalted wheat, aged hops, and water, spontaneously fermented by wild yeasts, and matured in oak casks.

Bottle from Piwoteka. Hazy orange, large head, tried to escape from the bottle - probably was kept at too high temperature. Aroma is acidic, lemon, leather, barnyard, apple. Taste is sour and rather dry, lemon, sour apple, quite complex and can be surprising. Aftertaste is dry and tart.

A little bit of fun and a lot of acitdity. Balanced, but memorable. Lots of green apple and veggie notes.

Stupenda geuze.

UPDATED: AUG 20, 2017 Smooth, detailed, and sweet, the sour notes were maintained so well over all of the combined years.

Bottled Oct 2013. Pours golden with small dissipating white head. Aroma is acidity, funk, hay & green apple skins. More of the same on the taste. Apples, bretty funk, wood, lemon with lots of acidity. Light body, bone dry finish. Not much carb. The gold standard for geuze? A proper sipper, my insides are squealing

A great sour beer, really tart with an apple like taste. Quite a dry finish and a complex palate. Definitely one to sip and enjoy ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Fine gueze. Leathery, citrus and stable-ish aroma. More sour than acidic. Mine was a bit too carbonated which made it more difficult to enjoy.

From a shared bomber at a party. Aroma is dry funk. Flavor is VERY funky with a good but not overwhelming dose of sourness as well as a good dry backbone and some sweet wheat. Somewhat light bodied. Good beer.

UPDATED: AUG 12, 2017 Bottle at home. Has a nice sour taste possibly to sour not sure I like this compared to boon. It produces little head and has a taste of apples
