4.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 20/20
75cl bottle at home, 1996 vintage. This bottle was corked, capped and very dusty. The cork was very long...so long that I lost the end of it into the beer. The pour produced a crystal clear bright ruby beer with still a huge amount of colour remaining (almost as much as a new bottle). The smell was fantastic! No oxidisation at all and I mean none!! It smelled of cinnemon, nutmeg, clove and cherry. Almost like a christmas spiced beer. Everyone that tried it said that they had never experienced a Kriek with such a christmas flavour. As we went down the bottle the sourness was more pronounced and the pours where becoming very murky. There was a huge amount of sediment in this bottle. This may well be the most gracefully aged beer Ive ever had. Everyone agreed that it could easily last another 10 years.
Bottle shared at beeroda tasting session. Hazy red colour, pink head. Bretty fruity taste, cherries, and spices. Cloves, cinnamon. Like a cherry pie. Delicious. geolgau (361) - Cluj-Napoca, ROMANIA - SEP 4, 2017
Aroma is great, full-on cherries and tart sourness. Sweet cherry juice, cherry seeds, kompot. Fragrant and fresh, not very complex but exactly on point with everything. A very well made liquid. rami_pl (3994) - Warszawa, POLAND - AUG 30, 2017

Pours a deep red from the cork and cage bottle with thin pink white bubbly head that leaves light lace. Aroma of sour cherry and farm house funk, a hint of acidity underneath. Taste is smooth earthy cherry, hint of funk, tart back end. Refreshing and fruity, dry finish, not over the top though. Amazing. DavidSvinth (153) - DENMARK - JUL 30, 2017

Awesome funkiness that’s not too intense for a newbie. Lovely tart fruitiness and an amazing intensity of cherries. Very tasty Maarten1993 (1329) - Nijmegen, NETHERLANDS - JUL 15, 2017
Drank 13-07-17 with Koen & Cat (thanks for sharing!). Nice one! You can actually distill the fruits from this and the sour is really there but not too sharp. Really nice how the beer can have such rich taste with such low ABV. oberschlesier (100) - Kattowitz, UPPER SILESIA, - JUN 12, 2017
Aroma: sour cherry, nice, clear kriek lambic flavor.
Taste: same as in aroma and unfortunatelly too much woody tartness in aftertaste. IMO it is tartness from cherry pits, it is a little too intense.
The beer has almost no head. Corol is maroon.
