Tap. Pours to a dark brown/black body with a beige head. The beer was extremely drinkable. Smooth flavors that consisted of light coffee, black malts, subtle zinc (hard water?), and light black licorice. Like a "porter-lite". The palate had a subtle metallic component that was either caused by light souring or hard water. All-in-all, very drinkable.

A: Obsidian black with a huge pillow cappuccino head. A light stain on the glass.
N: Minerals and lots of cocoa and coffee. Touch of cold brew acidity and lots of earthiness. The lambic nature comes through with a touch of raspberry and dark fruit. Ash and esters.
T: Lightly acidic and very dirty. Light sweetness and a roasty bitterness. Like a dark sour without the intense acidity.
M: Light body with a foamy carbonation. No alcohol.
O: Fun beer. It doesn't awe like the sours but as a change of pace, it works.
UPDATED: DEC 12, 2017 Black. Aroma is sour, some fresh cherries. Taste is dominated by moderate sourness, still mostly cherries. Slight bitterness at the end. Copenhagen 26/11 2017. 33 cl chubby bottle from Vin de Table, NV. Wine barrel in a dark cellar on the label. Pours very dark opaque brown with beige head. Settles as thin creamy layer of foam with lacing along the side of the glass. Aroma is intense and bitter-sweet. Dark dried spicy fruit like dates and prunes, bitter dark chocolate, sherry and humid basement. Soft carbonation and thick creamy palate. Flavor is very sweet but not as intense as expected. Not much bitterness present. Aftertaste is sweet leaving behind a trail of marzipan and alcohol. Really dark brown color with tan head. Aroma has sweet malt notes with red fruits and some dry red wine. Taste is dry, malty, just slightly tart with wine notes. UPDATED: NOV 2, 2017 Dark brown with a huge tan head. Roasted malts, mild smokyness and some red fruit smell. Big flavors here. Roastyness, smokyness, fruity and slightly acid from the Lambic yeasts. 2017/10/28 - Pours dark brown with a foamy, khaki head that slowly reduces and leaves moderate lacing. Aroma is roasted coffee, toasted bread, cocoa, dark fruits (plumbs, cherries), brown sugar and sour notes. Taste is dark chocolate, roasted coffee, toasted malt, tart notes and light funk. Mouthfeel Is medium with biting carbonation and a toasty, mildly tart finish. Interesting beer that I enjoyed more than I expected I would. Really grew on me.
