11.2 oz. bottle, consumed on 4-9-17. Pours a cola-like, medium to dark brown with a moderate amount of taupe to tan head. Very nice shade of head. Many small bubbles stick to the sides of the glass. Looks good. Fresh, yeasty aroma reveals scents of blueberries and strawberries. Mineral, caramel smell with a hint of fresh river water. Quite fruity and interesting smell that lacks the roasted malt dominance that most American porters display. Lemon citrus when I return to the nose. Interesting, almost tart flavor (presumably from the wild yeast) with a moderate to large amount of tarry, roasted malt. Lemon and even some tarragon vinegar in the finish. Perhaps a bit of berry, but not nearly as much as the aroma implied. Soft in the palate. Light to medium body. Easy to drink. Interesting beer; something a little different, and the taste and aroma are slightly above average, but its far from outstanding. The flavor is somewhat unusual but actually on the weak side (i.e., subtle). Im glad I tried it, but, unlike most beers from this brewery, its nothing special. Reminds me a bit of the English tradition of soured porters (its not sour, since no bacteria was used, but the wild yeast nods in that direction even as the beer doesnt actually go there). It also reminds me of a non-sour, unoaked Oud Bruin.

Decent maltiness, kinda porter with some mild, bit artificial cherries. Some mild dark choco, dried fruits, moderate sweetness with light bitterness and some tartness. Decent, but nothing fancy.

330ml bottle. Pitch black color. Huge size, brown head, stays. Fruity, sour, cherries? In aroma. Sourish, plastic, roast, woody in taste. Should it taste like that? Weird one. Covers alcohol well. Ohh ok :(

Aroma is dark malts, chocolate, dark fruit and sugar/mild funk. The flavor is dark fruit, chocolate, mild earthiness and a tart/sweet/very slightly funky finish.

Bottle. Very dark brown, small to average and mostly diminishing dark brown head. Moderate to full, malty and lightly - sweetish sweetish aroma, light caramel, light coffee with faint roastiness and sourness, light herbal hoppyness. Body is medium, malty and lightly sweetish flavor, light - some and caramel and faint roastiness and ligh coffee, light herbal hoppyness. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish, light caramel and and faint roastiness with light coffee, faint sourness and light herbal hoppyness, faint alcohol. Caramel sweetish Belgian porter with twist of bret = not for me.

Ciekawostka. W zapachu czuć że to porter z lekką nutą kwaśności i świeżych wiśni. W smaku aksamitne troszkę za wysokie wycenie.
