Draft at the brewpub. Clear reddish brown with a thick cream head. Aroma of caramel, brown sugar, toffee, malt and a touch of overripe dark fruits. Flavour is above moderate sweet and light moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Christos (5696) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - OCT 23, 2013
On tap at the brewpub.
Light brown in colour with a huge off white head. Thick with very good retention, leaving light lacing on the glass.
Aroma is of caramel, with light notes of spices and stronger ones of alcohol.
Taste begins sweet with caramel, a bit nutty, with obvious alcohol. Some hints of chocolate malts as well. Light bitter on the aftertaste with the alcohol being much more obvious now.
Medium thin body, a bit low on the carbonation.
Overall an average bock, the strong alcohol taste ruins it a bit. deanso (10070) - Chiang Mai, THAILAND - OCT 22, 2013

The head is medium, the body brown. It smells sweet, just sweet sugary. First a bit malty, more sugary -> ok, then to sweet, a bit alcoholic. Not my beer! 11/7/8/6/-/6 madsberg (11762) - Søborg, DENMARK - OCT 3, 2012

From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden amber with a small tan and dense head. Aroma is toasted malty and caramelish to breadish. Dense malty, caramelish and light phenolic. Roasted, bitter and dry malty. Ends roasted and bitter. erickok (6037) - Leuven, BELGIUM - OCT 10, 2011
As ’Herfstbok’ at the bar. Amber coloured beer with light tan head. Tabacco, boiled patatos, herbs, cereal and earthy. This strange dryness continues in the taste, that’s light bitter and albeit being drinkable not very pleasant. Sort of rye bitterness but at the same time misses character. Cannot compete against even the mass brewery Dutch bocks. (On tap at Oudean bar) NoiZe (2323) - Zeist, NETHERLANDS - OCT 16, 2010
