On tap at Pint Bokbierfestival 09. I reckon it’s this beer.. Sold as Oudaen Herfstbock. Amber colour, dense off white head. Aroma is fruity, flowery like potpourri. Flavour is sweet, flowery, light fruity, sweetish very light bitter finish. Not a bock, but a nice beer. erickok (6037) - Leuven, BELGIUM - OCT 10, 2011
As ’Herfstbok’ at the bar. Amber coloured beer with light tan head. Tabacco, boiled patatos, herbs, cereal and earthy. This strange dryness continues in the taste, that’s light bitter and albeit being drinkable not very pleasant. Sort of rye bitterness but at the same time misses character. Cannot compete against even the mass brewery Dutch bocks. (On tap at Oudean bar) skortila (5850) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - NOV 9, 2002
Cloudy dark brown/red colour. Roasted malts in nose and taste. Interesting taste. Palate is malty. Definately better than average.
