12oz bottle from total wine and spirits. Dark gold with thick white head. Nice fairly simple hop nose. Bitter pine, some citrus resin, then strong bitterness. Sticky and cloying. A pretty typical ipa, but well done. Decent ride. kenter2000 (74) - , Wisconsin, USA - JAN 18, 2016
The Aroma of this beer is great. Subtle, slightly sweet, yet clear there will be a hop quality to this beer. The taste, at first swig, is great, however their is a Carmel quality to the taste I find slightly off putting. Slight copper taste. Pretty good over all and refreshing. Drinkable but not exactly what I am looking for with a IPA. AnokaBrewer (207) - Anoka, Minnesota, USA - NOV 20, 2015
12 ounce bottle. Golden brown in color. Not a lot of carbonation. Not much aroma for an IPA. Good mix of hops and malt. I get the flavor switching between sweet malt and the bitterness of the hops. It ends with a slight bitter finish. scarletfire65 (1466) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 14, 2015
Quick bottle at home. A basic IPA, showing heavy malts and some tropical fruit notes over a simple hop profile. Dry finish. Not too bad. portableparty (2350) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - AUG 12, 2015
12 oz. bottle. Pours amber copper with a tight frothy off white head that settles to a thin film and lacing. Aroma is sweet caramel malts soft spice also soft pine spruce. Taste is stale bitter hops with plenty of sweet caramel malt hops are stale like I said and show some pine spruce notes with a big spice finish. Palate is medium chalky and little dry. Will need to revisit this one.

An impressive IPA! A really complex palate of hops and fruits and a variety of flavors: starts hoppy strong and finishes fruity hoppy. Looks great too. The aroma smells just a little too much of a stale bar bathroom.

Flight at HopCat in Madison. Clear orange/amber. Was very earthy which made the hops more rich in flavor. There wasn’t much of a bite, which is nice. I’m not an IPA person, but this was very fresh -- a sweet citrus -- still with hops flavor, but not overwhelming. johnnymusky (983) - Minnesota, USA - JUL 4, 2015

Pours a clear orange gold color with off-white head. Floral notes, citrus, and grass on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a nice citrus note. deyholla (11606) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUN 7, 2015
Sampled from the tap at the St. Paul Summer Beer Fest. Pours a clear orangish amber with a tan head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma is resinous with musty grain and some earthy grass. Flavor has musty and earthy grains with a bit of bitter citrus and a touch of sweetness.
