Can (Peppercorn). Light white pepper, biscuit malt, and hay aroma. Golden yellow with large white head. Moderately sweet lemon, biscuit malt, and mildly bitter pepper/hay flavor. Good body. Very nice.

Can at ShackBurger across the street from ChurchKey. Pours a fairly hazy but bright golden with a small to medium white head that leaves very nice lacing. Nose is quite phenolic with lots of pepper, fruits and bubblegum. Taste is pretty dry and offers some slightly garbagey fruits and more pepper and bubblegum. Body is light and carbonation very high. A pretty cool saison that could be a little less phenolic.

Draught. From 3 stars. Strong peppery notes. Kinda light feel. A bit washy.

On tap. A good saison. Much of the peppercorn is not coming through. Good though

Tap at Fools Gold, NY. As "Peppercon". Hazy orange color, small steady head. Overriped fruits, peppery spiceyness in the nose. Medium-bodied. Riped fruityness, mango, a bit wheaty. Light spiceyness in the finish. Ok, but lacks something.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazed gold with a medium sized white head. Gently floral with faint peppercorn. Medium bodied, light spice, dries out into peppercorn heat, but so subtle that I wouldn’t know if I wasn’t expecting it. Light musk on the finish.

Possibly my first saison from a can, although I’ve had this beer in the corked format. Lots of aromas from the peppercorns, plenty of heat from the spicing, and other, lesser spices. Hops contribute some citrus: lemon, orange. Light palate and a good weight for a saison, mildly earthy malts and a dry finish.

quite peppery with a bit of funk to it, this one was quite a surprise. liked it though.
