Koelschtrinker (21064) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - JUN 3, 2011

beerbuzzmontreal (3487) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 9, 2010
Pours a hazy orangey golden color with a thin white head. Aroma of yeast, citrus and spices. Good flavor of yeast, citrus and spices with a bitter after-taste. The body is light to medium with a chewy texture and medium carbonation.

2007 bottle shared with BigMomma. Hazy golden color, fluffy large bubble head. Aroma of dirt, dust and cobwebs that worsens with warming. Taste is bitter, peppery, with some similarities to the Morpheus Tripel.

BigMomma (251) - Leuven, BELGIUM - JUN 28, 2010
UPDATED: APR 19, 2011 Bottle at Erasmus under the name of "Dertig". Cloudy golden color with a small white head at the side. Aroma of sewer and dirt! Taste is malty with a dry hopbitter and peppery finish. The name speaks for himself this is one dirty beer!

CaptainCougar (7133) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - APR 24, 2010
Draft at Erasmus 9/2/09 as "Alvinne Dertig": Cloudy amber orange pour has a large pillowy froth of clumpy-lacing white head. Aroma of sweet lightly toasted caramel with some floral earthy hops and doughy yeastiness. Starts with good fullness and rich biscuity pale malty sweetness well balanced with an earthy grassy hop complexity before a full, drier bittersweet finish. An enjoyable and fairly complex Belgian strong ale.

ekstedt (6944) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAR 16, 2010
Bottle (33 cl) at Hotel Erasmus, Brugge, Belgium. Cloudy orange, meidum white head. Fruity and sugary aroma with citric hops. Meidum bodied, medium carbonation. A bit too sweet, medium bitterness.

rickgordon (3878) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAR 16, 2010
Bottle at Hotels Erasmus, Bruges. Cloudy yellow/orange colour with a big, longlasting head. American hops a la Warrior/Colombus dominate the aroma. The beer is sweet and dirty and sprawls all over. Kind of sticky, with somewhat rounded body. The American hop sensations was long gone and left was maybe a bit of choriander.

MesandSim (7117) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 23, 2009
A Mes rate. Bottle in our hotel room looking out of our window onto a truly spectacular view.
Hazy dark yellow with a huge pillowy white head. Heavy yeast on the nose along with lots of spice a little fruit and plenty of sweet bread. The flavour is similar but seems a little too yeasty and the aggressive carbonation gives it a slight feel of infection. The finish brings it back round. Really good sweet fruity malt, some bread and biscuits and then some late lemon. Given the 1985 Stille Nacht we had before this, it had a hard act to follow. Good enough but certainly not the best Alvinne beer. Still, a toast to an exceptional day, good friends, good food, good weather... Life is good.

anders37 (26878) - Malmö, SWEDEN - JUL 28, 2009
Draft @ Erasmus, Brugge. Pours a hazy orange color with a longlasting white head. Has a fruity malty yeasty hoppy aroma. Fruity malty hoppy bitter flavor with yeasty hints. Has a fruity malty yeasty hoppy bitter finish.

marcus (10560) - Sacramento, California, USA - JUL 22, 2009
Bottle at Erasmus. This blonde beer poured with a thin off-white head and a citrus aroma. The beer gushed from the top when opened by our waiter, but he recovered remarkable well. The flavor is carbonated citrus and spiced malt.
