On draft at Hourglass. Pours a copper with a white head. Nose is caramel, pine, cough medicine, and hints of syrupy hope. Flavor is similar with pine and syrupy hops- caramel and toffee, but the hops get a bit abrasive and drag their nails down into the finish. Medium in body and not my favorite barleywine. dchmela (3078) - Orlando, Florida, USA - JUN 6, 2015
Tap at Hourglass. Pour a deep gold brown. Big thick malt body, caramel toffee and earthy bitterness in the taste. Earthy hop aroma. Decent. smaynard6000 (1202) - Apopka, Florida, USA - OCT 18, 2014
growler from the brewery. Pours a very dark red color with beige head. Aroma is somewhat toffee-like, with some wine like qualities. Slightly sour with some malty sweetness and minimal hoppiness. Some warming from the alcohol content is noticeable. Pretty good. bconch (434) - - DEC 1, 2013
