Bottle at Erzbierschof Monday Club. Pours hazy amber. Aroma is a bit of cat food with citric hops and a lot of sweet malts. Body is medium with fruity flavours, but rather weak altogether. Well, boozy. Short palate. Not the worst.

Sweet fruity aroma, a little spice, malty caramel and hints of alcohol. Pours golden to amber, no head, pretty clear. Pretty sweet, a little bitterness. Thin mouthfeel. Too carbonated yet no head... A pretty lingering sweet boozy finish.

750ml crown-capped bottle with plastic-cork come with a free screwed-pin souvenir bought at CitySuper in Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui.

Looks: Cloudy hazy amber honey colour with a ring of dirt-like yeast sediments; Explosive three and a half finger head and crumpety white foam which lasts for 3 minutes; Beautiful sticky lacing with active carbonation.

Aroma: Very fragrant and sweet amber malt, with strong caramel, toffee, strong flower, pineapples, plums, honey, sugar, vanilla, spices, bread, strong Bel yeast, lemon and light grass.

Taste: Close to strong sweet taste of Amber malt, with strong caramel, flowers, red fruits, light cherry, sugar, strong molasses, spices, strong yeast, lemon, and fairly light bitter grassy hops.

Body: Medium body. Slick and smooth palate.

Mouth Feel: Full on Amber malt, rich in of caramel and toffee with cherry and quite strong elderflowers. Strong but nice malt sweetness with spicy bready finish. Nice!

Hoppiness: Spices, light lemon and light grass in nose and taste; Bitterness is light but notable for a lasting, low astringent sweet malty finish.

After Taste: Fairly dry. Smooth and sticky sweet to mouth.

Comments: This is a very rich Amber Ale, with lots of sweet caramel complimented by nice elderflowers and fruity esters. These 32 guys are really into brewing rich beer and not shy about it. Nice Amber, shame on the plastic cork!

UPDATED: NOV 30, 2015 Resins and yellow tropical fruits structured by sturdy and sharp malts elevate this beer to something more than a drink. We were lucky enough to pair it at sunset with a Dominican fine cigar by the beach, really something else.

Ambrata, velata dai lieviti in sospensione, bella testa di schiuma bianca molto persistente. Aroma speziato (pepe e coriandolo), leggermente agrumato e maltato.
