Zywiec Porter, pronounced "je-vi-ets", is a dark, strong beer brewed according to the traditional recipe from 1881, with the Munich malt and special malts for caramel and color plus the highest quality aromatic hops. Everything together creates a unique combination of taste.
Production of this Porter was moved to Bracki Bowar in 2004 .
Pours black brown with medium froth and slight residual effers. The nose is full bitter leather, yum. This baltic specimen is a bitter sweet example of the style. Starts out nice with sweet coffee and leather then like a woman scorned while fornicating finishes with a bitterness that lingers. Makes me want to smoke. This stuff rocks. Very complex. Alcohol is well hidden like a mistress in your closet. Overall; I fully recommend this.
