Bomber from variety pack. Pours turbid black with frothy, tan head. Nose is dark malt, blackberry, spice. Tastes tart, malty, with notes of blackberry, chocolate, black currant. Smooth, complex, and the blackberry works well in this. RobertDale (6905) - Lansing, Kansas, USA - DEC 4, 2017
22 ounce bottle. Pours dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of chocolate, malt, and berries. Taste is chocolate, blackberries, roasted malt, and a bit of coffee. Nice. balloonbuffoon (653) - - NOV 11, 2017
Draft served in a medium sized snifter glass. Appears a very dark brown with purple tints as it is swirled around. Aroma consists of chocolate, dark malts, and berry fruit. The rich palate excellently balances the smoothness of semi-sweet chocolate, roasted malt, and the light tartness of blackberry. This is a winner, one to have again fore sure. jkemmery (2) - Troy, Missouri, USA - JUN 8, 2016 does not count
Dark brown to black, tan head, head is a bit thin for a stout. Aroma is chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate, no noticeable hop aroma. Slightly thin palate for a stout. Taste is predominantly chocolate with hints of vanilla, caramel and cream on the finish. Bittering hops noticeable but balanced, flavor is reminiscent of good dark chocolate in a liquid form. jcartamdg (3539) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 16, 2015
Pours a murky dark brown with no head. Aroma of chocolate, roast and berries. Taste is like a chocolate berry truffle. Very nice.

Poured an amber brown color with aromas of light blackberries and some chocolate. Flavors are chocolate and blackberries with some roast and malt. This is great solid and enjoyable. Thanks Paul for the sample. phaleslu (10747) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 20, 2015
22 oz. bottle from Keir - thanks again, Keir! Pours a cloudy amber-brown color with a small beige head that leaves some spots. Nice nose. Smells a lot like this year’s regular CMS, actually. Cocoa beans, milk chocolate, toast, brown sugar, vanilla, nuts, and a hint of sweet berries. The berries show up more in the flavor, which has a more muddled version of the same notes as the nose going on. Light-bodied, with low to moderate carbonation and a thin, smooth mouthfeel. Like the Peanut Butter, I feel like this one could be just a wee bit better and am hoping to see both (already very good) beers get dialed in with subsequent batches. 22oz bottle, big thanks to phaleslu for sharing. Mostly clear brown, slight reddish color. Thin ring of off-white head. Really nice dark chocolate, cocoa nib, and blueberry. Tastes like some sort of hypothetical dark chocolate covered blueberry snack that I might find at Whole Foods. Medium-plus body. Smooth, kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. Kind of slick finish. Moderate sweet taste, nice light to moderate bitter, mild hint of tart (maybe residual from all the sours I just tasted prior). Very tasty, solid blackberry milk stout.
